This is an initiative of Green Waterhut and support partners - Nature Today, Ghana, ESIPPS International - Uganda Active Business Solutions-Ghana and ITI Group, Ghana.  Various volunteers have shared their time, ideas and resources to produce this web portal to support beginners in GIS, EO and emerging technologies from the blending of GIS, EO and Internet power for resources management and development. This portal does not provide explicit explanations or definition of concepts as considered among the academics but rather focus on the use of simple conceptual everyday models to explain these fields.  There are thousands of people who will be privileged to have the opportunity to know more about the benefits of GIS and Earth Observation. You can refer to our download section to obtain related presentations on the subject. The ideas and perceptions expressed here are purely based on related experiences in the field and hence might not reflect the views of all professionals. We also welcome the sharing of relevant information in the use and development, especially for training purposes in the subjects of GIS and Earth Observation. Our joy is to spread the importance towards the use of GIS and Earth Observation for managing the scarce earth's resources.
